British Gas Energy Trust 2023 Impact Report

Over the past 12 months, the Trust has supported more than 61,000 individuals and advice-giving organisations with over £20.5 million worth in grant funding.
This has included £15.7 million in energy debt relief grants provided to help households facing financial hardship with energy debts between £250 and £1,500, with an additional £2 million worth of financial assistance payments being distributed to the most vulnerable.
54 Trust funded projects across the three nations have employed 127 money and energy advisors, which in turn have helped clients manage £17.5 million in debt, with a further £5.2 million of debt being written off.
