Position: Communications Manager

Catherine leads on communications for British Gas Energy Trust, shaping the charity’s external presence.

With over 15 years’ experience across media, public relations, and corporate communications, she brings multi-sector expertise spanning science, engineering, defence, utilities, and the third sector. Before joining the Trust, Catherine held senior communications roles at a major publicly funded STEM organisation and worked as a freelance PR consultant, advising on content strategy, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement.

Earlier in her career, she spent seven years as a newspaper journalist, developing a strong instinct for storytelling and clear, audience-focused communication.

Outside of work, Catherine enjoys long walks with her family and Shih Tzu, Teddy, and can often be found braving the sea for a swim.
