British Gas Energy Trust 2025 Impact Report

Over the past 12 months, the Trust has supported more than 72,000 individuals and advice-giving organisations with over £14.3 million worth in grant funding.
This has included more than £5 million in energy debt relief grants provided to help households facing financial hardship, £1.6 million worth of emergency energy vouchers being distributed to the most vulnerable, and over £730,000 of white goods being distributed across England and Wales.
41 Trust funded projects across the three nations employed 166 money and energy advisors, which helped clients manage £32.5 million in debt, and achieve over £43.5 million in income gains.
