Scottish Parliament Raises Awareness of Energy Advice & Support

Ros Halley, BGET Head of Programmes at the Scottish Parliament

Ros Halley, Head of Programmes, participated in an energy drop-in event yesterday at the Scottish Parliament.

The event was hosted by Stuart McMillan MSP and certainly took place at a timely moment, coinciding with Ofgem’s significant increase to the energy price cap from April.

Sixteen MSPs from across the country attended representing the Scottish Nationalist Party, Scottish Labour and Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.

The drop-in event provided a great opportunity for Centrica, British Gas and the British Gas Energy Trust to promote the support that’s available through the new £2million Winter Fund, the Individuals and Families Fund, the Boiler Replacement Fund and via the organisations supported by British Gas Energy Trust.
