Citizens Advice Hartlepool HEAT team welcomes National Chief Executives to discuss innovation and good practice in energy advice delivery

Citizens Advice Hartlepool was delighted to welcome Dame Clare Moriarty, Chief Executive of Citizens Advice and Jessica Taplin, BGET Chief Executive for a presentation at the Hartlepool offices on the exciting new HEAT project funded by BGET.

The Hartlepool Citizens Advice team talked about reaching into Hartlepool’s BME communities and offering in depth, tailored and holistic advice to people as part of the HEAT project. Helen Howson, from Hartlepool Citizens Advice said: “This project will be a lifeline to many people struggling to heat their homes and who need help urgently. The innovation and research element will help us to understand what works and why. The approach of continuous learning is valuable to ensuring the best possible service is delivered to people coming into our offices.”
