Citizens Advice Essex Foodbank Partnership – Tackling Fuel Poverty

Project Information

Through this project, Citizens Advice Essex has expanded their Fuel Poverty Alleviation Programme, delivered by members of the consortium to focus on Basildon, Chelmsford and Colchester.

This funding will enable Citizens Advice Essex, the lead organisation, to work with consortium members to deliver intensive, holistic advice to people experiencing fuel poverty and likely to be in crisis.

Working directly with volunteers and staff in each partner foodbank, the local offices’ energy advisers will be able to engage with people both in-person and from online referrals exclusively from their partners, providing in-depth and ongoing support.
