The Trust funds advice-giving organisations across England, Wales and Scotland which offer free support to help you avoid the burden of energy debt, make informed choices and improve your money management skills.
The British Gas Energy Trust is working with British Gas and twenty local charities to run money and energy advice events in the heart of communities across Britain.
This project will support households facing fuel poverty and wider financial hardship by providing culturally appropriate workshops, tailored one-to-one money and energy advice, and follow-up support through referrals to specialist services.
Delivered through trusted community settings and multilingual, trauma-informed casework, it aims to help people improve financial stability, manage energy costs and access the wider support they need.
