Funding announcement media coverage for the British Gas Energy Trust

British Gas has made a funding commitment of £20 million to the British Gas Energy Trust, to commemorate the Trust providing vital money and energy support to people around Britain for the last 20 years. The funding enables the vital support of the Trust to continue for years to come.

Following the announcement, the Trust has been featured in multiple publications, radio interviews and television shows.

CEO of the British Gas Energy Trust, Jessica Taplin, spoke with radio presenters at BBC stations in Somerset, Merseyside, Manchester, Coventry and Warwickshire and the West Midlands.

On BBC Radio Merseyside, Jessica was joined by Vicky, a grant recipient, to hear how the support available from the Trust not only erased her energy debt but reduced her stress levels and gave her the confidence to enrol on a college course and go back to the gym.
