Christina Thwaite

Position: Trustee

Christina is passionate about working alongside others who share a common purpose to achieve great things for all, she is particularly interested in transforming services through engagement and collaboration with customers and communities.

Christina has spent most of her career in the not-for-profit sector after completing a post graduate degree in law at Staffordshire University; she was a Citizens Advice Volunteer for 4 years before moving into the debt advice sector and becoming the volunteer co-ordinator within the team. Christina then moved into social housing setting up an award-winning debt advice team and has been there for 11 years.

Christina seeks out roles & opportunities that help support vulnerable groups and has recently established a best practice group for money advisors within the social housing sector,  to help ensure that best practice support is given to those facing money issues and fuel poverty through creating original impactful solutions that break down barriers to engagement.
