British Gas Energy Trust provides funding to organisations across England, Wales and Scotland, to enable them to offer specialist fuel debt/money advice services. These impartial and independent services are available free to individuals. Find your nearest funded advice organisation here.
We are aiming to alleviate fuel poverty throughout Lancashire by providing a range of help and support across a wide range of channels to ensure accessibility for all groups. Energy and debt advice is provided in range of community languages including:
The project works with local and national charities, as well as HMP Preston to provide face-to-face sessions with homeless individuals and ex-offenders and their families. We also have a partnership with Early Years, Black minority ethnic ground and Macmillan nurses.
